KPCC’s Early Childhood Reporter, Priska Neely, featured Heluna Health’s PHFE WIC CinnaMoms program and the role that breastfeeding may play in reducing black infant mortality and other disparities facing black women and babies.

CinnaMoms hosts support groups that extend beyond our WIC services to provide encouragement and a safe space to chat about historical feeding practices, perceptions of breastfeeding, familial feeding experiences, and the health benefits of breastfeeding among African American families.
