Tamyra K. Porter

Tamyra Porter brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare consulting. Her primary career focus has been working to support public health programs administered at the state level. She’s worked with over 40 states and six federal agencies. In addition, she’s worked closely with Medicaid Health Plans and provider sponsored plans in local markets, with school-based health programs, and housing authorities to promote wellness. She brings experience in procurements, oversight and monitoring, health information technology, grants administration and waiver financing and has worked in child welfare programs, mental health, long-term care and disability services and maternal and child health. Her passion for supporting people and communities is personal and professional as she’s directed youth programs for over 15 years. Tamyragraduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health.
