Claire Verity is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with over 30 years of experience driving transformation across clinical operations, market strategy, and business development. Most recently, she served as Market President, Commercial Growth for Regence BlueShield of Washington. Her previous roles include Washington Market President at Regence, CEO of the Pacific Northwest for UnitedHealthcare, and National Vice President of Business Development at UnitedHealthcare. Claire also held key roles in product and network development at Providence Health Plan, helping launch a liver transplant program and build joint ventures between major health systems.
A longtime advocate for health equity, especially in women’s health, Claire co-founded Daring Women, a Seattle Business Magazine initiative spotlighting pioneering female executives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and leadership from St. Catherine University and a certificate in the Economics of Health and Healthcare from the University of Oxford. She serves on several nonprofit boards, including Northwest Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Heart Association, and mentors students at the University of Oregon. Claire was named a Washington Woman of Influence in 2021 and received national honors from the American Lung Association in 2024.
