Heluna Health Awarded Supplemental Zika Response Grant for California Department of Public Health Local Vector Control Agency

Heluna Health, on behalf of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), has been awarded additional funding from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) for Infectious Diseases cooperative agreement to enhance invasive Aedes mosquito surveillance and control in California. Control of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes is critical to reduce the risk of local Zika virus transmission and minimize the extent and duration of an outbreak should local transmission occur.
