Associate Research Scientist
Dr. Christopher J. Rogers is an Associate Research Scientist at Heluna Health, where he supports multiple projects ranging from emergency preparedness research to program evaluation science. With a strong background in public health and research translation, Dr. Rogers develops technical reports, scholarly publications, and study designs that bridge evidence and practice. He earned his Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine with a focus on Health Behavior Research from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Master of Public Health in Applied Epidemiology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). His research applies epidemiologic methods across diverse health topics, with particular emphasis on traumatic stressors, life-course health, and preparedness. In addition to his research work, Dr. Rogers is a professor and teaches epidemiology and biostatistics, training the next generation of public health professionals. Drawing from both public health practice and academic research, he brings a balanced approach grounded in theory and real-world application. Outside of work, Dr. Rogers enjoys both lively nights out on the town and quiet evenings at home relaxing.
